Flan Caramelo
Ingredients:
- Four
eggs
- One
cup of full cream powder milk
- 1/2
cup of sugar
- 2
tablespoon of vanilla essence
- Three
cups of warm water
- Decoration:
- One
punnet of strawberries
- 100
mls full cream
- Two
tablespoon of icing sugar

Method:
Preheat oven to 200c. Mix eggs with a whisk, add sugar combine well. Add
milk powder and then add the water a little at a time, ,making sure lumps
are not forming. Add vanilla last. Now, prepare your caramel have about
three big soufflé containers or four small ones ready. Place sugar
in a non stick pan and cook on a moderate flame stirring constantly, just
before the sugar dissolves turn heat off and let the remaining sugar dissolve
with the heat from the pan. Quickly pour caramel into soufflé containers
making sure you spread some on the sides as it sets pretty quickly.
Now add your flan mixture into the containers and place them in a deep
baking dish and put boiling water in the dish surrounding the containers.
Place in oven and cook for about 30 to 40 minutes. Take out when ready,
let them cool down and place them in the fridge overnight. Turn onto a
plate before serving and decorate with whipped cream and strawberries.
